ABOUT ME
¡Hola! I’m Auramarina, and I’ve been helping people across Canada learn Spanish in a way that’s fun, engaging, and tailored to their unique goals. Through my business, Spanish 2 Go, I teach students online via Zoom—making it easy to learn from anywhere.
I was born in Colombia and moved to Canada in 1984, so I know what it’s like to learn a new language while adjusting to a new culture. That experience shaped how I teach: with empathy, creativity, and a focus on helping each student feel confident and supported.
Over the years, I have worked with learners of all ages—from children in primary school and high school teens to young adults and retirees. Whether you’re learning Spanish for travel, work, or personal growth, I offer private, semi-private, and group classes designed to meet your needs.
I love the Spanish language and Latin American culture, and I bring that passion into every lesson. My goal is to make learning Spanish not just effective—but something you genuinely look forward to.
Canadians Speak Spanish

A wonderful opportunity to speak (hablar) and practice in Spanish. The students have a great time speaking with others and meeting new people. We have guests who are hispanics too!
The November session was FUN! My cousin Adriana joined us. We had a new student join. We talked, laughed and learned new words!
The next session is Tuesday December 2nd, and I may organize an in person event. Join us!

This summer, I took Auramarina’s conversation course with three other students. We were all at different language levels. Auramarina made the classes fun and encouraged every one of us to speak at our level. She picked topics that were relevant for everyday conversations and introduced new vocabulary while adding short grammar reviews. She started the conversation but then let us take over, helping us when necessary. I am sure I will enrol in one of her conversation classes in the future. – Kerstin
I highly recommend Spanish 2 GO and am thoroughly enjoying the training. The one on one classes are great – lots of opportunity to practice and she helps you get it right. Auramarina makes the classes fun and provides great resources and ideas to keep practicing and encouraging you to improve without ever making you feel embarrassed. The classes are tailored to your needs and she provides you with the words you need to practice again after the class. She is enthusiastic. I also really enjoy her weekly word challenges.
I also participated and enjoyed the group conversation classes. An opportunity to meet new people and talk about a wide range of topics. Spanish2go has been the base of my professional and academic progression. I began classes with nothing but a base to the Spanish language. Auramarina provided me with the tools and resources to excel within the Spanish language.
She continuously challenged me to become a better student. Auramarina kept me motivated and reminded me that no matter how much studying, Spanish is a never ending learning opportunity.
With the knowledge passed down from Auramarina I am gearing up to begin my career teaching English within a Hispanic country. Without Auramarina I would not have the skills, confidence, or drive to pursue this next chapter in my life.

My daughter LOVED the lesson last night! She was pumped and couldn’t go to sleep She usually listens to a sleep story/meditation to go to sleep and we switched it to Spanish last night. She was excited she understood “Buenas noches. Soy Edwardo.” at the beginning 😉
We’ve also rewritten the whole lesson in her fancy note book to take to school so she can teach her friends! (I wish she’d dive into school work this much!)
