Weekly Word Challenge
It’s Sunday (domingo) and the beautiful weather has arrived. We put up our basketball net and all the kids are playing on the street. It feels great to sit outside and chat with our neighbours!
Going back to last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.
Sombrero: sombrero
Sombra: shadow
Here are the fantastic responses that came in. I love the creativity! YOUPPI!
Mi sombrero es perfecto para mantener mi cara a la sombra.
My sombrero is perfect to keep my face in the shadows.
No siempre uso mi sombrero para proteger mi cabeza calva del sol, pero debería hacerlo. Entonces, a menudo me quedo en la sombra.
I don’t always use my sombrero to protect my bald head from the sun, but I should do it. So I often stay in the shade.
Here are the words for this week.

Are you curious about “Canadians Speak Spanish”? A wonderful opportunity to speak (hablar) in Spanish. The students show up and I separate them in different break out rooms and they speak in Spanish, they meet new folks and have loads of FUN!! Absolutely AMAZING!
Reach out and we can have a quick private chat. Next one is Tuesday May 2nd at 7pm.
¡Que tengas un bonito día!
