Welcome back! It’s a new beautiful Sunday and this is my last newsletter of 2024. Another year of teaching done. WOW!

I hope these two words never confuse me because I wouldn’t ask you for a punch instead of a poncho if it’s raining. Oh!
Me gusta mucho el ponche de ron, especialmente cuando hace calor.
I like rum punch, especially when it’s hot.
Cuando el clima es fresco, lo ideal es usar un bonito poncho cálido.
When the weather is cool, it’s best to wear a nice warm poncho.
Me gusta llevar mi poncho mientras bebo un ponche. Me recuerda a un viaje a México.
I like wearing my poncho while drinking a punch. It reminds me of a trip to Mexico.

Are you curious about “Canadians Speak Spanish”?
A wonderful opportunity to speak (hablar) and practice in Spanish. The students have a great time speaking with others and meeting new people. We have guests who are hispanics too!
We had SO much fun last session!! We talked SO much español and laughed and learned! My cousin’s from Colombia attended! WOW!!
The next one will be Tuesday January 7, 2025. YOUPPI!
