Weekly Word Challenge – Seis y sesenta

Welcome back!  It’s been a sad week as my Mother in law passed away.  I have been shedding tears and remembering her.  Helen was a school teacher who taught for 42 years.  She was a great example of the true meaning of a teacher.  She will be dearly missed!

Going back to the last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.

Flor: flower
Floristería: Flower shop

Here are the fantastic responses that came in. I love the creativity! YOUPPI!

Are you curious about “Canadians Speak Spanish”?

A wonderful opportunity to speak (hablar) and practice in Spanish. The students have a great time speaking with others and meeting new people. We have guests who are hispanics too!

The May session was SPECTACULAR! We met in person at a Spanish restaurant and spoke only in español. The waitress was kind while she talked in español! We had a BLAST!! Ate delicious food, got to know each other and left happy!

We will resume in September!

Do you have friends who speak Spanish and want to join? Please tell them about this community class!
