How is your summer going? I hope you have been enjoying some paletas y helado (popsicles and ice cream) during these past weeks of dog days we’ve been having.

Going back to our last challenge, do you remember what our words were? Find out the answers below.

Nuevo means new. Nueve means nine.

Cuando era muy joven, mis padres tenían un barco de pesca y tenía nueve ventanas al frente para ver. Por supuesto, tenía un motor nuevo que lo hacía ir muy rápido.
When I was young, my parents had a fishing boat and it had nine windows at the front to see. Of course, it had a new motor that made it go fast.

Cuando compré el coche era nuevo pero después de nueve años es viejo.
When I bought the car it was new but after nine years it’s old.

Mi carro no es rojo y no es muy nuevo. Mi carro es gris y tiene cinco años. Jajaja!
My car is not red and it’s not new. My car is grey and it’s five years old. Hahaha!
