{Giveaway alert} This week’s challenge

Another Sunday has arrived. The weeks are flying by! This weekend is Thanksgiving here in Canada Acción de gracias.

I know that I have lots to be grateful for.  In particular, I would like to say thank you gracias to my students.  I feel so blessed that I can share my culture and language to a receptive audience.  I learn SO much from each of you too.

Gracias to all of you, my Spanish community! I love your responses, questions and engagement with the content shared every week.

Going back to our last word challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below. I still get these 2 words confused! Imagine!

Sentarse: to sit down

Sentirse: to feel (well, ill)

Here are the fantastic responses that came in. The responses this week are from a fantastic couple that I teach.  They actually responded to each other’s phrases.  How fun!

Hola. Hoy mi esposa me dijo que me sentara en mi silla favorita porque parecía que me sentía cansado. Es cierto. ¿Dónde está mi vino tinto?
Hello. Today my wife told me to sit in my favourite chair because I appeared to feel tired.  It’s true. Where is my red wine?

Creo que mi esposo debería dejar de sentarse en su silla cuando se sienta cansado para que yo no me canse de servirle su vino.
I believe that my husband should stop sitting down in his chair when he feels tired so that I don’t get tired serving his wine.  jajaja.

Here are the words for this week. Challenge yourself to respond, even if it’s a short phrase! Gracias!
