Sunday is here again. Did you know that learning a new language will increase your brain power? How cool is that? You are doing something enjoyable and helping your brain (cerebro). WOW!

Going back to last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.

Me encanta comer champiñones en mi pizza y en mis ensaladas.
También me gusta beber champán con jugo de naranja. Creo que lo llaman mimosa.
I love eating mushrooms on my pizza and in my salads. I also like to drink champagne with orange juice. I believe it’s called a mimosa.

No me gusta beber champán porque no me gusta el sabor. Pero me gusta comer champiñones, especialmente en mi gran pizza con queso, salsa y pepperoni.
I don’t like to drink champagne because I don’t like the flavour. But I do like to eat mushrooms especially on my big pizza with cheese, sauce and pepperoni.

Me gusta cocinar champiñones con vino y ajo pero tambien me gusta beber vino y champán. 🙂
I like to cook mushrooms with wine and garlic but I also like to drink wine and champagne!

“Canadians speak Spanish” – an opportunity for you to practice your Spanish with others.   

Two weeks ago, I hosted a group conversation class with 7 participants. We had a chance to share as a large group and then go into break out rooms to have the opportunity to speak (hablar) in spanish. We laughed, we learned and we made new friends. We had a blast! (¡Gozamos mucho!). The next one is Tuesday May 3rd. There are 2 spots left. The cost is $15 per person for a FUN evening.
