Sunday is here again! It’s Father’s day! Happy happy Father’s day to YOU! I am surrounded by phenomenal men in my life – my father, my uncle, my step-dad and my husband. Share a story about your Dad (papá) please.

Me gusta comer zanahorias en ensalada, cocidas o crudas. Ellas son muy buenas.
I like eating carrots in a salad, cooked or raw. They are very good.
¡Nunca he intentado comerme un zapato! Sabría horrible, pero a mis pies les gusta usar zapatos.
I have never intended to eat a shoe! It would taste horrible but my feet like to use shoes.
Una zanahoria es el color naranja y mi zapato que uso todos los días es marrón. Espero no haberlos confundido porque no quiero comerme el zapato.
A carrot is orange in colour and my shoe that I use every day is brown. I hope to not confuse them because I don’t want to eat with my shoe.

Canadians speak Spanish community – an opportunity for you to practice your Spanish with others.
What is it? A community of Canadians who want to practice Spanish with other eager learners.
Why join? It’s a great opportunity for you. The group is welcoming and you get lots of time to hablar (speak) and practice español.
Results: The community conversation classes are close to a real life experience….where you would travel and meet new people and practice español. Come “travel” with us and enjoy 1 hour of laughing, learning and making new friends.
Date & Cost: Tuesday July 12th at 7pm. The cost is $15 per person for a FUN evening.
