We are back for a New Year of words, a New Year of learning and a New Year of FUN!!
First a little story. Recently I had to write my French exams for a job opportunity. I was so nervous and did all the things that I tell my students not to do. I was saying things like “I don’t think I can do this” “it’s too hard” . But then I stopped myself and said “ I can do this”. I sat down and started studying and eventually wrote the exams. I passed both of them. It gave me an appreciation for what you go through as students. Learning and studying a language is hard…..but making an effort and trying do make a difference. Let’s get excited to learn this year!
