Weekly Word Challenge
It’s Sunday (domingo) again. We celebrated Valentine’s day this past Tuesday. I reflect on how at times we put so much pressure on ourselves for a perfect celebration. Do you do that? I certainly do. And then I got thinking…. that we also do this with learning Spanish. We put so much pressure on ourselves to be perfect. Right?! I am here to remind you that if you learn one new spanish word a day…..you are ahead of the game!! One new spanish word a day – that’s all! Take the pressure off and have FUN!!
Going back to last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.
Dedos: fingers
Dados: dice
Here are the fantastic responses that came in. I love the creativity! YOUPPI!
Por lo general, sostengo mis dos dados entre mis dedos antes de lanzarlos y parece que funciona.
I usually hold my two dice between my fingers before throwing them and it seems to work.
Jugamos muchos juegos con nuestros amigos. El que más me gusta es con dados – siempre gano jajaja.
We play lots of games with our friends. The one I like the most is with dice – I always win. hahaha!
Los dedos se utilizan mejor para recoger cosas (como pizza y papas fritas) y ponerlas en la boca para NO cortarlas.
The fingers are better used to pick up things (like pizza and french fries) and to put them in your mouth and not cut them.
Here are the words for this week.
Are you curious about “Canadians Speak Spanish”? A wonderful opportunity to speak (hablar) in Spanish. The students show up and I separate them in different break out rooms and they speak in Spanish, they meet new folks and have loads of FUN!! Absolutely AMAZING!
Reach out and we can have a quick private chat. First class is on me!
Next class is Tuesday March 7th EST I already have one guest invitee confirmed. Come try it out!
¡Que tengas un bonito día!
