Weekly Word Challenge – Consejos y Conejos

Welcome back! It’s 2026 – ¡FELIZ Año NUEVO! WOWEEE!!!! I got a Facebook memory this morning that 9 years ago I taught my first Spanish class at a primary school.  My daughter came with me to the school.  We had a lot of FUN and the students were really engaged.  I was terrified – but I did it.  Nice memory!

Going back to the last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.

Reina: Queen
Reir: to laugh

Here are the fantastic responses that came in. I love the creativity! YOUPPI!

Cuando mi esposo me llamó su reina nos reímos. Yo no lo llamé mi rey.
When my husband called me his queen, we laughed. I didn’t call him my king.

Cuando digo a mi esposo que soy la reina de la casa, el rie mucho.
When I tell my husband that I am the queen of the house, he laughs a lot.

Disfruto tratando de hacer reír a mi reina.
I enjoy trying to get my queen to laugh.

Here are the words for this week! Gracias a Carol!

I would like to challenge those who are thinking about responding to please respond….just try!
Por favor! Por favor!
