Welcome back! Another beautiful week! Es el fin de semana de acción de gracias (Thanksgiving)!!! How will you celebrate? I will host on Saturday – we love eating turkey and ham with all the fixings!!
Going back to the last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.
Cocinar: to cook
Caminar: to walk
Here are the fantastic responses that came in. I love the creativity! YOUPPI!
Siempre disfruto de un paseo en un día soleado cuando no hace demasiado frío.
Mi madre me enseñó a cocinar cuando era niña.
I always enjoy a walk on a sunny day when it’s not too cold.
My mother taught me how to cook when I was a child.
A mi esposa y a mí nos gusta caminar junto al mar y disfrutar de la hermosa vista. Más tarde ese mismo día pasamos nuestro tiempo en la cocina, donde ella intenta enseñarme a cocinar. Buena suerte con eso.
My wife and I like to walk by the sea and enjoy the beautiful view. Later that day we spend our time in the kitchen, where she tries to teach me how to cook. Good luck with that.
Yo, camino a la casa de mi hermano para cenar porque él es el mejor cocinero.
I walk to my brother’s house for dinner because he is the better cook.
A mi esposa le encanta cocinar y luego ir a caminar.
My wife loves to cook and then go for a walk.
Here are the words for this week!
I would like to challenge those who are thinking about responding to please respond….just try!
Por favor!! Por favor!
Are you curious about “Canadians Speak Spanish”?
A wonderful opportunity to speak (hablar) and practice in Spanish. The students have a great time speaking with others and meeting new people. We have guests who are hispanics too!
We had SO much fun last Tuesday!! We talked SO much español and laughed and learned! And my favourite part was that my daughter joined the class WOW!!
The next one will be Tuesday November 5th. YOUPPI!
