Weekly Word Challenge – Nariz y Naranja

Welcome back!  Welcome welcome to the new folks who have joined my newsletter.  How is your week going?

Going back to the last week’s words and challenge, do you remember what they were? Find out the answers below.

Plátano: plantain
Pomelo: grapefruit

Here are the fantastic responses that came in. I love the creativity! YOUPPI!

Un amigo de nosotros acaba de regresar de sus vacaciones y notó un plátano en su complejo.
Tenemos un árbol de pomelo en nuestro patio trasero, pero en este momento no es temporada de pomelo en Texas.

A friend of ours has just returned from his vacation and noticed a banana in his resort.
We have a grapefruit tree in our backyard, but right now it’s not grapefruit season in Texas.

Prefiero comer plátanos ya que son dulces en lugar de una pomelo que es agria.
I prefer to eat plantains as they are sweet rather than a grapefruit which is sour.

Here are the words for this week!

I would like to challenge those who are thinking about responding to please respond….just try!
Por favor!! Por favor!
